How RiotLite Works
RiotLite is an optically clear film "stack" built from multiple PET security film layers in a proprietary arrangement. When glass is struck by fists, rocks, crowbars, or bats, the film absorbs and spreads the impact and holds the broken glass together. Paired with mechanical attachment to the frame, the glass stays anchored in the opening instead of falling or being pushed out.

Is RiotLite bullet proof window film?
No. RiotLite is a forced-entry and shatter-resistance film. It does not stop bullets on ordinary glass. For ballistic protection, FSJ Tactical recommends BulletShield.
How thick is RiotLite?
RiotLite is stackable, with protection up to 41 mil. FSJ Tactical typically recommends 36 to 41 mil configurations with mechanical attachment for meaningful forced-entry delay.
Why does mechanical attachment matter?
Without attachment, a filmed pane can be pushed out of the frame as a single sheet. Mechanically attaching the film to the frame keeps the glass anchored, which is how RiotLite is tested as a system.
How do I clean RiotLite?
RiotLite's hard coat resists scratches and can be cleaned with common window-cleaning solutions. Avoid abrasive pads and razor blades.
