WALSHIELD - WHAT IS IT?
Walshield (and its upgraded version Walshield+) are ballistic resistant wall panels made in the USA. They are designed to reinforce existing walls (e.g. drywall) to resist forced entry, vandalism, and bullets.
WALSHIELD - WHAT IS IT MADE OF?
Our panels are made from composite materials, specifically layers of E-glass fiber combined with resin systems. Walshield uses a thermoplastic resin system; Walshield+ uses a thermoset resin and woven glass fiber for enhanced resistance.
WALSHIELD - HOW DOES IT PROTECT OCCUPANTS?
Walshield panels provide protection against bullets: Walshield achieves up to UL 752 Level 3 protection; Walshield+ can handle even more powerful threats.
WALSHIELD - HOW IS IT INSTALLED?
These panels are designed to be installed over existing drywall or wall surfaces. So you don’t necessarily need to rebuild or do full demolition. That means less disruption, faster installation, and likely lower cost than full rebuilds in many cases.

BULLET RESISTANT WALLS PROVIDE OCCUPANT PEACE OF MIND.
Because Walshield reduces vulnerability to violent threats (shootings, forced entry), our products increase occupant safety in sensitive or high-risk settings such as schools, bank branches, government buildings, and detention facilities.
WALSHIELD - FOR ANY AGE BUILDING
Walshield and Walshield+ panels can conform to various wall shapes and surfaces, including historic or nonstandard walls. In historic buildings, our products will likely lower maintenance in contrast to soft or unreinforced surfaces that are damaged by impacts or repeated abuse.
WALSHIELD - CUSTOM BALLISTIC PROTECTION
Building owners can layer panels to achieve higher levels of protection, if needed. This gives flexibility depending on how high a security threat is expected, and we provide your design and stakeholder teams with the live fire performance ratings, peer reviewed and third party confirmed.
